HEALTHY MENU IDEAS
Here are some menu ideas. I have recipes for all of them, so if you want them, just email me and I'll forward them to you. Most all of them take under a half hour prep time. You do have to plan ahead and have the ingredients and the meat thawed out. I just put them in a calendar and rotate through so we aren't eating the same thing every night/week
Pasta is made with whole wheat noodles (preference is angel hair)
Tacos (chicken, fish or beef)
chicken pasta
cajun chicken
fish (wild)
tuna steaks
spaghetti with meatballs (homemade sauce)
chili
bean soup
vegetable soup
goulash (with whole grain or quiona noodles)
steak n cheese sandwiches
chicken stir fry/beef stir fry/Vegetable stir fry
pork tenderloins
salmon (wild)
homemade pizza (homemade dough recipe or Bob's Red Mill gluten free mix)
chicken artichoke bake
mexican chicken
chicken fingers (homemade)
chicken tetrazini
maid rites
italian chicken casserole
cheesy beef n rice
chicken panini sandwiches or vegetable panini
homemade bread (so easy and so healthy!)
Sides--
Black beans, pinto, navy, mung, garbanzo
green beans
frozen vegetables
salad
butternut squash
potato french fries
sweet potatoes (can make these into fries too)
Any vegetables that are in season (farmers market in the spring/summer/fall)
